Timberwolves to take on semi-pro BCS Clash

The Timberwolves will have their first preseason match of the season when they take on the Bryan College Station Clash, which is a newly formed semi-professional team out of the Brazos Valley.

The Timberwolves are in a rebuilding year after losing several key players from last year including both captains, but this hasn’t changed much for coach Tim Grove.

“In the junior college game you always have to be prepared to have multiple roster changes each year.  We did lose some great guys, but at the same time we have added new talent to the squad and expect to be competitive as always.”

The team finished last fall with an undefeated regular season record before losing in the final of the conference tournament.  The school achieved its first national ranking coming in at #9 in their region.

The game will be played at Concordia Lutheran High School at noon on Saturday.
